YeaH! Gaming have qualified for the next ESEA MDL Global Challenge after winning the ESEA Open Brazil league with a 2-0 victory over FURIA.
En-route to the final, Yeah, who have among their investors SK duo Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and Marcelo "coldzera" David, beat EX, W7M and DETONA, while FURIA had to move past gloryUS, C4 and ex-Tempo Storm.
The title decider kicked off on Mirage, where FURIA took nine rounds into the second half after playing on the CT side. After the break, Yeah set up a strong defence and secured four map points, but Guilherme "spacca" Spacca's men picked themselves up and took the game to overtime - a wasted effort, however, as Caio "zqkS" Fonseca's side would lock down the map.
Next up was Inferno, where Yeah got off to a flying start as they cruised to a 9-1 lead on the Terrorist side. FURIA then finally got a footing in the game, winning nine of the next ten rounds to equalise the score at 10-10, but then Yeah strung six rounds together to wrap things up and secure a spot at the ESEA event.
